Connected Healing Acupuncture - Kristin Murray, Registered Acupuncturist (R. Ac.)

Kristin was born and raised in Creighton, Saskatchewan. She enjoys the outdoors, fishing, yoga, snow shoeing and spending time at the family cabin. After graduating high school, Kristin moved to Saskatoon to pursue studies and a career as an X-Ray Technologist. For the next 20 years she worked in healthcare serving radiology departments in both Saskatoon and Flin Flon, while adding mammography and CT training to her resume.

Kristin has always had a passion for holistic approaches to treatment and care, so after two decades working in Western Medicine she made the decision to pursue Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture views the body as a whole, connecting the mind, body, and spirit to work together in harmony. If there is imbalance in one area it will cause disharmony within the entire system, resulting in the appearance of symptoms and potential disease.

Kristin spent 3 years studying Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Hua Xia Acupuncture College in Winnipeg, where she excelled in her courses and received her diploma. She is excited to be back in the North and bring Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to Flin Flon, Creighton, and surrounding areas.

Her goal as an Acupuncturist is to work collaboratively with her patients to address their holistic needs, treat the root cause of their ailments, eliminate symptoms, and prevent potential disease. In doing so she hopes to give her clients the quality of life they desire so they can do the things in life that bring them joy.

Kristin’s passion is centered around helping those with chronic pain, women’s health, mental health, and digestive issues, however her practice is not limited to these conditions. She welcomes any questions you may have regarding acupuncture treatments and how they may benefit you.

“Sometimes we treat the root, sometimes the branch, sometimes the root and branch simultaneously.”
